Bernhard comes from Germany with 12 years
experience as a PMEL Technician in the German Air Force. He
immigrated to USA in 1988 and graduated with a B.S. in Computer
and Management Information Systems with a minor in Management,
an A.A.S. in Electronic Engineering and an A.S. in Fine Art from Metropolitan
State College of Denver, Colorado in 1992.

GERMAN AIR FORCE, 1988
In his time off from school, Bernhard coached the North American Team
Handball Team at 4 U.S. Olympic Festivals and was named Commissioner
for the U.S. Olympic Festival, in Denver, Colorado. He started his own
club in Denver, the Colorado Pioneers Team Handball Club in 1988 and after only 4 years, won
the Silver Medal at the U.S. National Championship.
In addition, he built the Las Vegas Scorpions-THC which finished 5th in the second
division after only a few training sessions in 2010.
Bernhard was also the Coordinating Manager for the 2010 Nationals event. In the
future, he will be an Instructor for Team Handball at UNLV as well
as coaching Team Handball at the Boys & Girls Clubs of

TEAM HANDBALL TEAM, 1989
In his Information Technology career, Bernhard had his first job as Field Technician
at Colorado Mountain College, in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. After one year, he moved
to become Network Engineer with INACOM Information Systems in Denver, CO and Las Vegas, NV.
Following the move to Las Vegas, Bernhard worked as Systems
Administrator/Systems Analyst with AMIL International.
This lead to a great opportunity with Mandalay Resort Group as MIS Systems
Engineer with MIS Director responsibilities. With this background, he became an
IT Instructor and later VP of IT at several professional IT learning institutions.
Bernhard has certifications as CISCO CCNA, CCNP; Novell CNE, Microsoft MCT, MCSE, MCSA, MCP+I; CWNA;
CompTIA A+, Network+ and Security+.

Beside the careers that Bernhard was successfully
involved in, he always liked to photograph things
around him and pick up details that other people did not see or do not care for.
Photography became a
hobby for him when his father gave him his first camera.
He also took a photography class in college.
Oil and acrylic painting is a hobby that he picked up when he was 11 years old.
Since then, he has painted around 15 paintings. Due to
Bernhard's attention to detail, many of them needed around 1 year for completion.

It was always Bernhard's goal in life to visit as many countries
as possible and thereby, learn more about people and their culture.
Immigration to USA was a dream come true. This took place in 1988.
