Las Vegas Scorpions-THC
became a talented right wing player at the US National Team Handball Championships
2010 in Las Vegas, playing for the Las Vegas Scorpions Team Handball Club and that
after only 5 previous training sessions.

GERMAN AIR FORCE, 1988
In his off time from school, Bernhard coached the North American Team
Handball Team at 4 U.S. Olympic Festivals and was named Commissioner
for the U.S. Olympic Festival, in Denver, Colorado. He started his own
clubs in Denver, Colorado Pioneers Team Handball Club in 1988 and won
after only 4 years the Silver Medal at the U.S. National Championship.
In addition, he built the Las Vegas Scorpions THC finishing 5th in second
division after only a few training sessions in 2010. In
addition, Bernhard was Coordinating Manager for this event. In
future, he will be Instructor for Team Handball at UNLV as well
as coaching Team Handball at the Boys & Girls Clubs of

TEAM HANDBALL TEAM, 1989
In his Information Technology career, Bernhard had his first job as Field Technician
at the Colorado Mountain College, in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. After one year, he moved
to become Network Engineer with INACOM Information Systems in Denver, CO and Las Vegas, NV.
After a short time as Network Technician with INFOWORKS, he had a job as Systems
Administrator/Systems Analyst with AMIL International. Alliance Gaming was his next stop as Senior
Network Administrator, leading to a great opportunity with Mandalay Resort Group as MIS Systems
Engineer with MIS Director responsibilities. With this background on Hands-on, he became a
valuable IT Instructor and later VP of IT at several professional IT learning institutions.
Bernhard has certifications as CISCO CCNA, CCNP; Novell CNE, Microsoft MCT, MCSE, MCSA, MCP+I; CWNA;
CompTIA A+, Network+ and Security+.
